Diana`s Delights in Gaylord

Great food- Great service. We had to wait for a table 4- of the 5 times we were there for the week. The only other place in town lost our money due to being rude. I highly recommended Diana’s delights- and will be going back if we are ever in Gaylord again.

Came here on a Sunday at noon with my wife. We were seated fairly quickly, but ended up waiting over an hour for our food. The place was busy so a wait is understandable, but I noticed most tables had no food and people looked irritated and complaining about the wait. Waitress said they were short staffed, so maybe it was an off day. The toast was good but the bacon eggs and cheese skillet wasn't all that great. We are from out of town and were looking for somewhere local to eat in Gaylord. Not a great experience, and probably won't go again.

Food was good. Service was not

Ordered a breakfast club... Raw tomatoes don't really work with eggs, they need a minute on the grill to help with moisture, and flavorless with out any salt on them. The bacon on the sandwich was floppy.... Some might like that, for for a big mushy egg sandwich, I expected crisp bacon. Everything else was par or sub par. Sorry Dianna's, you're getting sloppy, not worth the price tag

I WAS AT YOUR RESTARAUNT THIS MORNING. THE FOOD & SERVICE I RECEIVED WAS BEYOND WONDERFUL. I WAS TREATED BETTER THAN FAMILY. NO KIDDING.

This is the only restaurant we would consider visiting post shelter in place . Clean, superb food! We were greatful to have a dependable relaxing place to go.

Very friendly, fast, and affordable. I would DEFINITELY recommend stopping here if you're passing through and looking for somewhere to eat that isn't a chain.

Nasty. Ordered well done hash browns, they were half cooked, but swimming in grease! Service could have been better. Just no good breakfast places in Gaylord, anymore.

Extremely disrespectful. Our waitress rolled her eyes continuously, ended up getting our food to go. Very slow service and only one worker was swearing a mask. Nobody took Civid precautions.

This place is probably your best shot for catching COVID-19 in Gaylord. They are doing absolutely nothing to prevent it. No distancing. No face masks on staff, any of them, kitchen or wait staff. No limiting capacity. No barriers. Not a safe place.

Had a delicious breakfast. Very nice place with nice staff. Homemade food, yummy.

Pretty solid breakfast, I opted for the breakfast sandwich with a side of hash browns. Hash browns were crispy on the outside, and just right in the middle. Breakfast sandwich was piping hot and had just the right amount of cheese in the middle. I will say though, the "real" maple syrup isn't real, coming from a guy who makes his own. Service was friendly and pretty quick.

The breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recommend it. Good old fashion home cooking.

What a Delightful dining experience! 😍 Very roomy & cheerful. Our waitress Katie was very friendly & was quick in greeting us, getting our drink choice and taking our order. My husband & I both ordered their Tuna Melt & requested on their homemade Grilled Sourdough bread & chose fries for the side choice. WOW! We were Amazed how Big & Scrumptious it was! I had to take 1/2 of mine home to enjoy tomorrow. We plan to come back here on a regular basis so to try their many other good looking options for both lunch & Breakfast which they serve til they close at 3. Plus, get the Tuna Melt again. Please come & enjoy their large menu choices! 😋

Little bit of a wait, but great food and the staff was very accommodating during the wait.

slow service, okay food, did not do the necessary precautions for covid. no distancing, and they weren’t even wearing masks or gloves. will not ever go back again.

Very slow/poor service. We understand especially when extra precautions need to be taken due to the pandemic. This wasn’t the reason though unfortunately. We had a dirty coffee cup, silverware, and burnt hash browns which were all small in comparison to our waitress telling us four adults to get up and go wash off the scented hand sanitizer I had used. We all thought we heard her wrong. She said “there are many complaints”. The other tables near us said they didn’t even notice and put their scented hand sanitizers away to avoid being chastised next. I know this is a difficult year and times for all, but I hope the manager puts a sign at the door on hand sanitizers if this is not allowed in their establishment. And to my waitress, hearing you complain about your coworkers assures me in knowing they know exactly which one you are.

This restaurant came highly recommended by the Fairfield Inn and suites. It did not disappoint! The food was incredibly good tasting, fresh and high-quality. The price was very reasonable. The staff was professional, polite, friendly and attentive. I wish I lived in town so that I can enjoy this every week!

Our go to breakfast every time we are in Gaylord. Great spinach omelette! The best whole wheat toast! Great service and friendly atmosphere! You won’t be disappointed ☺️

I have not been to Diana's in sometime and met a friend for coffee and tea I can't speak to the food because all we had was something to drink but service was prompt environment was light open clean and relatively cheery. Should I come here to dine in the future I will amend this review but at this point I can say it's a decent place to get a cup of coffee or tea my only criticism is being a tea drinker Lipton is not generally a great tea but it will do the job in a pinch.

About half the staff was wearing masks and every table was seated. Tables are about 2-3 ft apart and back to back booths, all seated. No covid precautions. Food was okay, portions are small compared to other breakfast restaurants. Paid more for 2 adult breakfasts here than for 2 adults takeout at lucky's steakhouse for dinner. Main point of this review, however, is to say if you aren't comfortable going where they aren't following mask and distancing laws, don't go here.

Stopped in for breakfast this morning and we were seated fairly quickly for how busy it was but that was all that was quick. It took 10 minutes for a waitress to even come to our table, another 15 or so minutes to get our drinks and WELL over an hour to get our food. Food was lukewarm at best and wasn't worth the money or that long of a wait.It seemed as though we weren't the only ones experiencing this issue as many tables had no food and looked very irritated. Needless to say we won't be returning the next time we're up that way.

The wait staff did not wear face masks and there was no maintenance of ANY social distancing. Super slow service. Took 1 hour to get our food as a table of 4.

The best cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life. Other than that, a pretty standard Michigan diner with hot coffee and good breakfast food. I have a cottage in Kalkaska, and Diana's is one of my go-to spots for breakfast. Well worth the drive!

Good priced. We finished our plates so pretty good portions. Food was delicious.

Great food, very slow service. There was a girl running around filling coffee, water, and anything else the tables needed. I wish this girl was a waitress. One waitress inside one outside and very busy.

The food was good. I had bacon,eggs, white toast which was thick like homemade, and French fries. I went for lunch and was disappointed they didn't have some kind of chicken strip basket. The food I ordered was well made. The portions are good sized. Lots of older people in there. Seems like they enjoyed the quiet pleasant atmosphere.

Great Eggs Benedict!

Amazing food and very friendly staff. We came in at a pretty busy time and the accomidated for our larger group and still gave very prompt service. Lots of items made in house and available to purchase to take with you. Will be back next time in the area

Good breakfast place. My only complaint was the Latte I ordered was not made with an espresso machine. Not very good.

I was very impressed. I have been looking for a go to breakfast place in Gaylord and this is going to be it. I had the spinach omelet with a side of hollandaise sauce. It was excellent.

Food was good..53 dollars for breakfast for 2 adults though...and oeople sitting on top of each other..no social distancing AT ALL...no wonder why gaylord has the most cases anywhere around here...more than 6 people sitting at tables...tabkes were about 2 ft apart...most u guys get shut down...your a perfect example of not following guidelines...never be back...not worth my health...

Everybody here is named Diana and they are all delightful. The food was good, all the Dianas were friendly and prompt. Lots of seating in a quiet and quaint place.
